Unique experience from the Offshore & Towage market

Wide experience from Ocean Towage

From its early days, ocean towage was one of Tschudi Offshore & Towage’s core activities.

We have conducted more than 500 tows of the heaviest and largest floating objects worldwide.

The tows have varied from VLCC’s, floating dry docks, semi- submersible rigs, jack-up rigs, damaged vessels, derrick/lay barges, FPSO’s, FSU’s, transport barges loaded with offshore modules or dredging equipement.

Our solution of combining two (similar) units, delivering a bollard pull up to 290 tons, maintained additional safety during the towage and flexibility during intermediate bunker stops.

Wide experience from Offshore Support

We have many years' experience from operating dedicated offshore support vessels worldwide.

Serving blue chip clients such as BP, Saipem, McDermott, Global Industries, Heerema,  Gaz de France, Single Buoy Mooring, Seaway Heavy Lifting, Acergy, Maersk Oil & Gas, Shell, Murphy Oil, Doris, Schenker, Vaalco, Sonangol and Noble Drilling.

Platform installation projects have also been undertaken in the North Sea and FPSO operations offshore West Africa.

Our tugs supported installation vessels with barge handling and anchor handling. In the renewable energy market our vessels supported offshore wind farm installations and maintenance projects.

Our skilled crew ensured safe operations

For six consecutive years our vessels assisted semi submersible laybarge Castoro Sei, with round the clock anchor handling duties, moving up to 26 anchors per day.

We proudly participated in the prestigious North Stream Project - assisting with the two 1,220 km long natural gas pipelines going from Russia, across the Baltic Sea, to Germany.

Wide experience from Salvage & Wreck Removal

We have many years' experience of offering marine emergency response.

This includes an impressive number of salvage operations and wreck removals, fire-fighting of tankers ablaze, refloating operations and many rescue tows.
